Data-independent acquisition (DIA) using ZT Scan DIA allows correlation of fragment ions with associated precursor ions in addition to the benefits of SWATH DIA. SWATH DIA uses precursor isolation windows that are typically 5–50 Da. When two or more compounds fall in the same SWATH DIA precursor isolation window, deconvolution of the MS/MS is usually only possible using techniques based on LC profile correlation. Compared to SWATH DIA, ZT Scan DIA provides additional selectivity in the quadrupole dimension that is complementary to retention time and fragment ion m/z for more reliable compound identification. Here, we demonstrate that ZT Scan DIA combined with high-flow chromatography results in fast, sensitive and quantitatively precise compounds identification and quantitation from NIST 1950 plasma. |
