In this study, the ACE 3000 ICP-MS was employed to analyze trace metals in Whole Egg Powder (NIST RM 8415). Sample pretreatment was conducted following the official guideline for heavy metal analysis in food, utilizing microwave digestion with nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Elements were quantitatively analyzed under optimized instrumental conditions. The calibration curves for all elements demonstrated excellent linearity with correlation coefficients (R²) exceeding 0.999, confirming the method’s reliability. Detection limits ranged from sub-ppb to low ppb levels, indicating the high sensitivity of the ACE 3000 ICP-MS. Analytical results were in good agreement with the certified values of the reference material, further validating the accuracy of the method. This study confirms the applicability of the ACE 3000 ICP-MS for precise and reliable trace metal analysis in food matrices, contributing to advancements in food safety monitoring and quality control. |
